'It's great to catch the authenticity'
How life looks, that's what Job is aware of always and everywhere. He sees through the eyes of a filmmaker: how the light falls and the moment feels. The genuineness, the imperfect, that's what he wants to bring forward. That's what people recognize. Job: 'I think it's great to catch the authenticity.' The gipsylike atmosphere from the French campsite from his youth; that freedom, solidarity and romance is what he looks for. He was actor/dancer, skipper at sea with groups and finally refound that sphere in the movie industry. He got his experience in all positions. 'In every script and in all I do, I look for authenticity; those are the best moments.' He dares to use his gut feelings when shooting and to tell a story that is reel. His great social sensitivity makes him very good with actors. 'I'm not a knight, but a jester and get things done that way. If it's reel, it works.'
