'I provide a different angle'

Jasper is extremely visually oriented. He knows directly how to picture things. He sees what others don't: that one moment that covers it all and gives the right feeling. He knows to pick out that one thing that gets to you, hurts a little or stirs things up. Viewers recognize this. As a child from an artist family he lived in his own fantasyworld. When he held the camera for the first time, it was evident that he was talented. Besides his artistic talent he stood out in his commercial state of mind at the Rietveld Academy. He's good at working on comission. Jasper: 'I provide a different angle. It's my second nature to see the moment, putting myself into others and to convey the desired feeling. I'm not a loner, but believe in the power of teamwork. To create something together, that's the best there is.'
